Tailored For Success, Inc. (TFS) is a not for profit organization dedicated to assisting economically disadvantaged women, men and youth with job resources.



Tailored For Success, Inc. empowers job seekers to become economically self-sufficient by providing resources, skills training and supportive reinforcement. 





Tailored for Success aspires to be the community leader in workforce development.  We are committed to moving job seekers from dependency to economic self-sufficiency by enhancing their self-esteem, self-confidence and skills. 


TFS serves clients from the Greater Boston area that are referred from social/human services organizations.  Our “referral only” policy enables us to focus our attention on the unique needs of clients, many of whom come from domestic violence or homeless shelters, job training and reentry programs.

Elizabeth Hart

Founder / Executive Director

Elizabeth Hart is passionate about empowering women and girls on a local, national and international level. Since 2000, Elizabeth “Liz” has been the driving force behind Tailored For Success, Inc. (TFS), a not-for-profit organization serving 14 communities in the Greater Boston area. Liz proudly serves in the dual role as Founder and Executive Director of Tailored for Success whose mission is “empower job seekers to achieve economic self-sufficiency by providing resources, skills training and supportive reinforcement”. This mission is achieved by working with corporate and nonprofit partners to provide job seekers with free high quality professional attire, career advice and the opportunity to participate in career development workshops.

Liz strongly believes in making a difference in her community, not only in her work, but by volunteering for numerous civic, charitable and business organizations in leadership positions. Most recently, Liz served as the 2018- 2020 Governor of District 1 for Zonta International, which encompasses New England States and Nova Scotia. Zonta International ( is a service and advocacy organization that works to advance the status of women worldwide, is past Chief Volunteer Officer (board chair) for the Malden YMCA (the first woman in the organization’s history) and past Chair of the Advisory Board for Mystic Valley Elder Services.


In recognition of her many contributions to the Malden community, Liz has earned distinctions such as the 2002 Malden YWCA Tribute to Women Award, the 2007 Malden Chamber of Commerce “Community Program of the Year” Award and was honored to be presented with the 2010 Women Making a Difference Award from the Zonta Club of Malden. Described as the “highlight” of her career, in 2007, Liz was appointed to serve as a Commissioner for the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women where she currently serves as Commissioner Emerita. In 2014, Liz was recognized for her service to the community by being an honoree at the North Shore Black Women’s Association 2014 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Luncheon.

It is through her work with Tailored for Success, her volunteer obligations and work on behalf of the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women that Liz strives to live up to her values of hard work, dedication and commitment.

Cindy Crosby

Executive Consultant and Coach

Cindy Crosby brings over 30 years of business leadership experience in the healthcare industry to her current work as an executive consultant and coach.

Prior to branching out on her own, she worked as a VP at Johnson and Johnson family of companies and built global Quality, Regulatory & Compliance operations. She created global organizations and processes that helped drive revenue growth while reducing risk. Cindy recruited and coached next-generation leaders who achieved both professional results and personal success. Having worked globally, she appreciates and champions cultural diversity, equity, and inclusiveness within an organization.

Cindy is passionate about utilizing her business experiences and coaching skills to help people and organizations reach their full potential. An advocate for community service and the development of leaders, Cindy has found a natural alignment with Tailored For Success’
mission. She is inspired to assist job seekers on their journey for economic self-sufficiency through the programs and resources available at TFS.


Cindy holds a B.S. in biology from Suffolk University and is a graduate of Leadership Programs at Rutgers University, J&J, Fielding Graduate University. She also serves as the Chair of the Boston Chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club and coaches veterans in military career transition through American Corporate Partners.
