The mission of Tailored For Success is to empower our clients through the development of a professional image. We distribute free business clothing and accessories to women, men and at risk teens through our Referral Partner network.
Due to the high standards we place on clothing for our clients, clothing donations are accepted “by appointment” only and/or through corporate clothing drives. All donated clothing must be in good condition (i.e., no rips, stains or missing buttons), contemporary, dry cleaned, on hangers and in the current season. The cost to mend, repair or dry-clean items is not practical for us and it would take away money from our programs.
Tailored For Success strives to be a socially and environmentally aware organization that is connected to the community. Therefore, items donated that are not used for client purposes may be sold in our resale boutique to support our organization or donated to the other clothing distribution agencies. The staff of Tailored For Success thanks you in advance for your understanding in helping us put the funds raised through the sale of donated items to the best possible use, and we greatly appreciate your understanding of when we need to refuse a donation.
