WOMEN'S BUSINESS SUIT DISTRIBUTION Tailored For Success, Inc.’s Women’s Business Suit Distribution program is targeted to low-income single mothers who have been out of the workforce for an extended period of time orwho are attempting to transition off public assistance. Clients are served in a “boutique” type atmosphere by referral only. Each client receives two suits for interviewing purposes and once they obtain employment, they can return for a week’s work of coordinating business attire. Typical services include:

  Individuals in transition face a variety of barriers to employment. Barriers such as a lack of basic skills, welfare dependency, poor English skills and limited education. In order to assist these individuals, Tailored For Success, Inc., has developed a series of workforce development programs as described below:
  
  

• Bridge to Success Program – This program is a free four-week interactive professional development program funded by Employment and Training Administration of the U.S. Department of Labor. The program consists of a series of career building workshops, job placement assistance, technical skill training, career coaching and clothing assistance.
  
  
• Build Your Image/Build Your Self-Esteem Workshops – This is a series of self-esteem and self confidence building workshops for teens that focus on four areas: personal presentation (as it relates to the workplace), nutrition/exercise, job readiness, and business etiquette and conflict resolution.
  
  
• Job Retention & Career Advancement Program – This post-employment support program focuses on helping individuals retain and advance within their careers to achieve economic self-sufficiency. The program is comprised of case management, soft skill training (i.e., time management, basic financial planning, and business communication) clothing assistance.
